The woman/girl in the reception was very nice. Positive, charming and welcoming.Nice breakfast.
The bed and the pillows were too hard. Minus for none existing coffe maker on room.
Decor, closeness to the centre of the city.
Free laptop and wifi did not work as well as we would have liked
The position (center, but not noisy), modern bathroom, good breakfeast, internet without paying.
The room was very spacious comfortable and well equiped for a family of four. It was centrally situated and had lots of places to eat and things to see/do nearby.
The parking facilities could have been a bit better/less expensive.
The Petit Palace Plaza was ideally situated for our visit to Malaga, being oly yards from the Cathedral and shopping, and minutes from other attractions such as the Picasso exhibition and the food market. The hotel itself is very comfortable and well designed and the staff were very helpful and efficient.
High five to high tech hotel
Did not stay long enough to write a review
Parking not possible at/near the hotel. It took almost an hour to find parking place in a parking house. Any kind of information of parking houses on this webside would be helpful.
Fine hotel. I cannot imagine a better location in the center of Malaga. Can not be reached by car, not even to drop of bags. You will be told to park in Plaza Marina Parking. From there its a good 8 minute walk to the hotel. Building is attractive enough, facilities good. And again, location location location
Do not take room 101. It should not qualify as a hotel room! (We moved and 102 was very good.) The wireless network has good coverage but whoever installed it went annoyingly overboard in security. Overly secure user/password combination. And re-login at the smallest possible timeout add to create quite a miserable wifi experience in self proclaimed "high tech" hoteles. Very easy to fix though.
The hotel has been recently done out in a modern style decor with orange as an accent colour and a single flower on the wallpaper in the room. The furniture and fittings are modern and uncluttered, with dark wooden flooring in the rooms and simple darkish wood wardrobe, desk and bedhead. The bathroom has a stylish shower and modern wash basin with a large mirror. Our room was made up and cleaned every day, with fresh towels provided.*****The breakfasts were well supplied with a wide variety of foods for all tastes: cooked breakfast items, cereals, yogurts, fruits, juices, breads & toast, meats, cheeses, pastries and hot drinks all available in good quality for a modest price.
There was a large chair, meant to be comfy, which we found to be suitable only for slouching - or perhaps 2-person gymnastics? There was a laptop provided, which enabled us to keep abreast of our e-mail painlessly. However, the bandwidth was such that searches and connections were somewhat slow compared to what we are used to. Also, the laptop used a touchpad for navigation, rather than a mouse, which meant that navigation was rather hit and miss, with the cursor disappearing three lines above where you thought you were typing - a common failing.
Loved the buffet breakfast, the helpful staff, and the location.
I did not know the Ferria festival was happening, so it was not as restful or available to shopping and strolling as I would have liked. It did not look like the shower had been cleaned.
Room 206 that I was given had a view of a cement wall. I asked the hotel staff if I could change rooms and they were very accomodating. The following 2 nights I stayed in room 105 which had a much better view, with doors opening out to an attractive interior courtyard.
A little sterile for my taste, but overall a good place to stay and a fantastic location in the heart of Malaga.
This is my second visit, the plaza area is central and easy to walk around. There is much building work going on at present; this was inconvenienr - but which I hope will bring good results for the area
The location was fantastic and right at the heart of Larios Street where a range of shops, restaurants and cafes were located. The room was very modern and colourful and the view was great. It also had a laptop with free wi-fi which I thought was very appropriate! The bathroom superb, spacious with a hydro massage shower and jacuzzi bath tub - quite a treat!
The upper bunk bed had no safety guard and I was concerned that my youngest would roll over to the ground. My eldest had to sleep on the upper bed instead.
Location is excellent, but it is a nit noisy in the night
No lights near the beds, very slow laptop (suggested directly in the room) with slow internet.
